How does AI affect jobs in engineering?

So with all the AI advancements happening right now, I’ve been wondering about how it’s going to change the engineering field. Some people say it’s going to take jobs, while others say it’ll create new opportunities. I can see how AI can automate some of the boring stuff, but do you think there’s a risk for more specialized roles? Or will it just be another tool to make our lives easier? What’s your take on how AI is going to impact engineering jobs in the future?
